A congregation meeting called to vote for the ordination of our pastor. All members are asked to attend.

Our board is pleased to announce that Schuyler Vogel, our pastor, has requested the rite of ordination here at United Unitarian Universalist Congregation. Ordination is the final step in the ministerial formation process, an honor bestowed by a religious community onto an individual deemed worthy of ministry. 

A congregational vote is needed to approve ordination. Typically, such a commitment includes hosting a special service to commemorate the occasion and a reception directly afterwards, as well as financial and organizational support for the ordination event itself. 

In order to discuss the possibility of ordination, a brief congregational meeting will take place immediately after the service on Sunday, February 1st. Please remain in the sanctuary after the service for this meeting before proceeding downstairs to the fellowship hall.
