Love in Action! Sunday

While embracing the unique UU Values, we are called to transform ourselves, our communities, and our beliefs into active collective care, restoration, and justice networks. This covenant, rooted in our shared values, urges us to choose love in motion as our guiding principle.

After all, love without fairness is not love. Compassion without deeds is not compassion. Faith without effort does not reflect our chosen faith. The religious community's position is to reach beyond idle thoughts into spiritually motivated - caring for and lifting our fellow travelers. When we convert them all into loving and responsible action throughout the week, then and only then will our morning worship become what we want it to be—a time of worship.

Welcome to Love in Action Sundays. Giving us a light to follow as we carry our faith into action. We know that this is a hard time for so many reasons and that we are in deep need of congregation and contact. We hope this service can be a place for you to feel nourished and supported.

Our service activities are as diverse as our community. You might find yourself watching a show and discussing it, taking a field trip to the river's edge to clean, helping assemble lunches for the homeless, putting together a concert to support the community, reading to children in need, or putting together letters to congresspeople. It's a memorable and exciting opportunity to engage in service in various ways.

These services will be held in person monthly and led by different volunteers and/or teams. We've focused on in-person experiences to foster community and connection. There will be no YouTube services. Monitor the calendar for upcoming events and follow the Tuesday Weekly email for more details.
