Sunday Worship - Water communion

Join us for our annual Water Communion at 10:30 am Sunday at the amphitheater in Frame Park. This service will be held live and in-person. We hope to offer a safe and joyful place for us to
connect.

Some important details:

BRING WATER. As always, from your travels, or your tap, or wherever you have found some meaning in the past year. A small amount is all you need.

SEND STORIES/JOYS/SORROWS THIS WEEK to Rev. David at minister@uniteduuc.org. For safety, we will not invite people to come down front. But we do need to hear from you.

ENTER THE PARK form Moreland Avenue between the river and the railroad tracks, follow the park road past the formal gardens to the parking area for the amphitheater. The entrance from White Rock Avenue is blocked by construction.

BRING FOLDING CHAIRS or something else to sit on. The amphitheater has broad steps so you can be physically distant.

MAINTAIN A SAFE DISTANCE. Six feet at least, please, except for your family members.

WEAR A MASK. Respect your neighbors and help us all stay safe.

BRING AN OFFERING. In this time when we can’t regularly pass the plate, we will take this opportunity to take up a collection.

REJOICE! This marks the first time since March when we have been in some proximity to one another. Take joy in seeing one another at a safe distance.

This service will be recorded and will be available on our web site, www.uniteduuc.org, later Sunday. You can tune in throughout the week. Worship will return to online-only for the remainder of the year.

There will be no online Coffee Hour following this Sunday’s service. Coffee Hour will move to 10:30 am beginning Sept. 20.

In case of a thunderstorm, this service will be offered online.
